Marc, I'm assuming that you oiled the heck out of the clutch?

Subject: Re: [TheForge] LG 25 with stuck clutch.
Hey everyone.
Rebuilding my shop after sitting for three years or so. Just relined the
forge with fresh Insuwool.
I turned on the power hammer (LG 25 lb) and the clutch stuck and it started
beating hard.
Hammer has maybe 100 hours since the babbet was repoured on the clutch
pulley (By Sid) I checked all the mechanical linkage and everything seems to
be retracted,
I have the type with the fibrous belt liner on the friction spider.
I am thinking (that means hoping) that the belt is just swollen and has to
be replaced or maybe even sanded down a little.
Before I tear it down I thought I would get some opinions.
I think I am gonna give Sid a call and get some in the mail today. 10 to 15
per foot I will need it eventually.
Any ideas?
Thanks
Marc
