Mike that's the point exactly.......only the first 400 and the
funding was donated by two board members and one affiliate
to cover the costs.  For 2008, same thing, funded directly out
of board members pockets, myself, Dorothy and Jim Masterson
because we just could not get 15 board members to agree that
we need to do something to say "Thanks" to the members.

I wish we could send some kind of premium to every member
new or renewing.  Every organization I contribute to sends me
some little "Thank You".........even if it is just return address
stickers

In addition to mailed renewal notices twice during the quarter
we are also using Constant Contact email notices with a link to
renew online.

Sometimes it's more work that I ever thought it should be, but
then again we work with Blacksmiths.
