Hi Paul,

The current policy is that the 1st 400 members who renew in a calendar quarter get the CD. That much is stated in the note on the table of contents page of the Anvil's Ring. Now I'm not exactly sure how the Central Office ladies administer that. But I can tell you that as of today roughly 2 weeks into the new quarter far fewer than 400 membership transactions have happened. So my advice to you is to call the central office tomorrow morning and renew or extend your membership and ask to be included in this quarter's 1st 400 members deal. (ABANA: 703-680-1632)

The CD in question has 8 years of Hammers Blow back issues and so is quite a nice collection of tips, techniques and great ideas. We will start giving a different one away in Jan 2009.

I heard from a friend that he recently received, unexpectedly, a CD of 
back issues of The Anvil's Ring and Hammer's Blow for renewing his 
membership early.

Does anyone know if this is now policy? My membership isn't up until 
March, but if  I can get in on the deal, I may very well renew now...

I did a quick review of the abana website, and didn't see this offer 
mentioned.
