I have found that the brand of cutting disc makes a big difference.  We were
cutting coil spring in preparation for a tool making class and I found that
I could actually see the "el-cheapo" disc shrink in size right before my
eyes as I cut.  I switched to a Pferd (German made) disc, and finished all
the cutting and the disc looked the same size as when I had started with it.

Been cutting some 6mm plate with my angle grinder. I notice sometimes I wear
the cutting disc out rather rapidly. Is there a best industry practice /
technique?
