	This was the same at Ft. Vancouver in WA.  That was enough to put the 
kybosh on my volunteering.  What a pathetic state this nation has 
decayed into.  It turns my stomach.

	The issue is far more fundamental than even that.  Who are they to 
demand such a check?  Starting a relationship on the presumption of 
guilt is a wholesale crap way of doing things.  I can see it for work at 
CIA and such places, but *THIS*?  It is beneath contempt.
