I have to agree;
The San Fernando Valley, which is mostly paved by now, had 16 to 20 feet
of topsoil. What do we think we are gonna eat?
I've a buddy who is a soils expert..and he doesn't see dirt the same
way most of us do at all.
Failing to take decent care of their dirt has lead to the collapse of
civilizations, arguably. Not to mention the dustbowl and what is going
on here in Cal's wine country.
