[TheForge] building a new shop/shed

As I've related many times my shop floor is concrete
with infloor hydronic heating and 2" sq. receiver
tubing gozintas on a 4' grid. The gozintas are
connected under the floor to an air exhaust system.
Standing and working all day on concrete can cause
foot, leg, knee, hip and back pain but there's a pretty
sure cure and that's good boots. There are two I know
of that work quite well.
The first and my favorite are custom made work boots. I
own two pair of White's and have never experienced
foot, leg, etc. pain while wearing them. They're pretty
expensive but compared to living with daily pain
they're dirt cheap. http://www.whitesboots.com/
The other is Zcoils http://www.zcoil.com/ These have a
stiff spring built into the heels and take the shock
out of walking on concrete floors. I have a pair of the
work boots found here.
http://www.zcoil.com/products_styles.html I prefer my
White's but these keep me from hurting too.
Lastly there are the foam soled shoes and boots like my
Redwing slip ons and they're okay for short term, say a
couple days or so.
So, from my perspective if I can work on it without
hurting myself give me concrete any day. I don't like
dust, mud, losing stuff, not being able to sweep the
floor, having to relevel it, not be able to draw on it.
etc. etc.

it ain't real.
Wrought iron is.
