Yes we are Mike a good old fashioned Chinook has pushed 
our temps above 40 for four days now, hit 50 yesterday 
and is finally starting back down as of this morning. 
Winds have died down and it's stopped raining. 
Unfortunately almost all the snow cover is gone and if 
the temps drop much again the ground's going to freeze 
deep and there goes my hopes for an easy breakup. 
<sigh>

Bundle up, toss another log (or whatever) on the fire 
and have a sip of something refreshingly warm. I made 
lamb and barley soup the other day and it cured the 
chills alright, brought on the Chinook . . . <sigh>
