For a couple of years, i hunted octopus for part of my income.
I'd catch them rudely, kill them and pickle them in a formaldehyde 
solution, then mail them off to the biological supply houses..mainly 
Turtox. It was pretty good money and i was pretty poor.
I also lived with a succession of them in aquariums in my room.
Had one that'd eat from my fingers.
It got to where i just couldn't hunt them commercially any more..still 
ate one for dinner now and then though.
Mollusk empathy is lower than chicken empathy, i think.
