Andy;
The places that supply glass contractors accumulate lots of flawed 
returns,scratched panes, wrong sizes, muffed orders and often sell them 
out the back door cheap. They have a disposal problem when they replace 
old style windows too.
Sliding glass door replacements are inexpensive in certain sizes and can 
even be bent into arches...grin.
