It was on the coastal moraine south of the Big Sur area, no trees to 
speak of...lots of wind and fog.
We are now up on the cliffs where the road turns and twists . The 
southernmost redwoods are about a mile north.
It's dark and dank living in the redwoods..moss grows under your nose, 
mushrooms betwixt the toes..it's lush and fecund though. I like that 
area. If things continue as they have been, that deal might well come up 
again.
