Steve:  I could put you in touch with Malcolm Wells, grand master of the 
earth sheltered house. I have done work recently on the Underground Gallery, 
built in the 80's as his and his wife's studio.  Truly a marvel of 
engineering and consruction.  Mac is gettng on, and isn't designing any 
more, but is a wellspring of wisdom and experience on the subject.  You 
should at least read his stuff.  Let me now if you are interested.

Moving cross country was a pretty serious trauma, we had no idea. I'm just
this past year getting back in to metalwork in any significant amount.

We're moving maybe 20 miles, having contractors build an earth sheltered
house in Lovell, Maine.
