[TheForge] Mailbox opportunity

Hey, guys!

We're METALSMITHS!!!

Vandal-proof mailboxes (that meet P.O. regulations and insurance and
liability concerns) could be a PRODUCT!

My take (FWIW) is a rugged (like 3/8" steel) mailbox that LOOKS normal
from the outside, placed on an unbreakable knock-down-able post. In
heavy winter areas, rig it so it is on an arm to swing away if hit by
a snowplow. BTW, have a door on each end of the mailbox tube so the
postman uses the one by the street, but YOU use the one by the
sidewalk (if any) so you don't have to risk your neck collecting your
mail.

Optionally, offer a version that locks so your mail, once in the box,
can only be got out with a key. What with identity theft, this is
really much more important than ordinary mailbox vandalism.
