It's not even clear that these two (so far) posts are originating from
Lee Robbins' computer since the originating IP addresses inserted in
the headers by Yahoo were different.  Remains to be seen whether Lee
has to clean up his now-compromised computer or if a bot has snarfed
his address book and propagated it throughout a botnet. (Or something
else that I haven't thought of.)

Both bogo-links were dead by the time I got to them but a bit of
grovelling through Google suggests that the Bad Guys have:

    + cracked otherwise legit web sites and

    + inserted pages (with silly names such as ETTYioopas.htm)
      which link to a web host in China.

In any event, Bruce's advice is good: Unless you're prepared to deal
with malicious crap that can potentially take over your computer,
snarf all your data, sign you up with the Borg or eat your cat, don't
go to these sites.


ObSmithing:

Visible progress (slowed by cold weather) on building a forge that can
take a long heat, viz. air supplied from a horizontal stainless pipe
with four vertical nipples and a widget to turn on/off 1, 2, 3 or all
four nipples.  Old oil furnace blower converted to forge blower.
Bunch of tedious welding and twiddling yet to do.
