I don't know about this.  How about a short description of what you saw
at the NBACon?

As recently as, oh, 10 or 15 years ago, my local hardware store sold
smallish mica sheets as replacement windows for a couple of kinds of
old cast iron wood wood stoves that were popular around here.  (They
may still, I haven't looked) I once owned such a stove (but swapped it
off for something better.)  The mica had to be bent ever so slightly
to fit the curved doors -- maybe a 24" or 30" diameter curve.

So what did you see at the con?
