[TheForge] Oregon fusion blades

Anyone have an idea as to what the "fusion"  process is that Oregon is 
using on their lawnmower blades. 

I have them  on my 60" Cadet Tank M60 and they do seem to be holding up 
well. Typically they  claim their blades are tempered to R50 but edge is 
farther hardened by this  "fusion" process. They are definitely more difficult to 
harden.

I'm  wondering if the process is being used elsewhere.
