Sorry about that guys-- update on my mail system decided I wanted html....so it reset it automatically, hence the missing messages....now back to the original subject (I hope). Dan suggested 600F-650F. Flint lock springs were tempered in molten lead and the melt temp is -- 650F. Steve Bloom
