Sort of, there's some mud in it but it's mostly 
saturated rotting organics with a frozen bottom. A 
muskeg "hole" can be really deep as in lose your truck 
completely. Glub glub. Sometimes the stuff forms a 
floating mat over lakes but it's hard to tell because 
it quivers when you're on it anyway.
