hello;'
the folks at calumet industries are okay to work with. a litte difficult
to understand the southern accent but i managed.
i figured that i needed 80 pieces of psp to build a path for the fork
lift to move the paver stone pallets. they telephoned then they e-mailed
the quote. $34.00 usd per piece is not a bad price. shipping is not as
bad as i thought it would me. i am wondering if it would be less cost to
drive down to calumet industris with a flatbed truck and pick up the psp
or jr mats and drive back home.
80 pieces of mat X $34.00 usd per piece = $2,720.00 usd for mats
if i went with the jr mats the shipping is nearly one third the cost of
the mats.
psp mats
$2,720.00 usd for mats + $566.50 usd shipping = $3,286.50 usd mats
delivered.
jr mats
$2,720.00 usd for mats + $866.09 usd shipping = $3,586.09 usd mats
delivered.
jr mats picked up my several friends and i with flatbed truck would be
priceless. ;-)
$2,720.00 usd for mats + road trip with old friends across the american
midwest and southern heartland = $priceless

Terry,
Thank you for your inquiry.
The PSP mats I believe will work and they are $34.00 each. The freight
to get them to you would be $566.50.
I have the JR mats that I feel would work better. They are also $34.00
each but are heavier so the freight would be $866.09.
I did not know exactly what you had at your location to unload the mats
so I chose a carrier that I know what the charges are. I may be able to
get a better freight rate if I know what you have.
Look at both types and let me know what you think.
I will also call you as you requested.
