[TheForge] which tools to own and which to rent?

I'd add storage and maintenance as criteria as well. I don't need to 
maintain any more liquid fuel engines that are dedicated to a machine 
that only sees use once or twice a year. Plus the loss of floor space to 
store it. For me, I'd rather rent.

I know mobility is an issue for Terry, so not having to transport those 
things is an argument for owning. For at least a couple more years for 
me, I can get them in and out of my truck.
