correct all the mistakes and rework the drive shafts and send him the
bill for the rework. the factory and he are going to split the cost of
the rework. i waited till he had sent me an e-mail attachment with a pdf
containing his authorization and signature. once i received that gary
and i reworked the drive shafts. disassembling the incorrect u-joint and
installing a correct u-joint. stripping the paint from the ends of the
drive shafts.  cleaning up the burrs and drive shaft shields. replacing
the damaged drive shaft shields with new replacements from farm&fleet.
washing and cleaning the drive shafts then greasing them. for hourly
rate i used the salesman's company shop rate for work. basically, it
will work out that they give me 3/4 of the drive shafts for reworking
them. it still is not a deal. we are now behind on several projects and
have to research using strictly comer drive shafts and gear boxes.

so they will work for the current time, but they will be replaced in the
future with a comer drive shaft equivalent.
