There was a Blacker hammer for sale just 40 miles from me.  A
fabricator/welder-type Guy had beat it (and every other piece of
equipment he owned) to ratshit so it would have been a capital-P
Project to get it to do more than bash.  But he wanted a
working-hammer price for it and I was near poverty-stricken at the
time.

Rumor has it that The Guy moved to Vancouver (the only place in Canada
where you can reasonably pursue such an ambition) to sleep under bridges
and smoke dope and the hammer went to a basket maker to wanted to
pound withe rod with it.  Now I might be able to afford the hammer if
only I could find the basket maker and find out if it was still in
use.


I hear the Avian Dental Clinic has a fly-press. ;-)
