[TheForge] New land and future forge

Hi all,
I just wanted to let you all in on my latest and perhaps most exciting
project yet!

The papers (although delayed due to recent flood waters) have gone
through and the purchase of 6.2 acres is complete. Set in the
sub-tropicaly location near Dorrigo (Australia) my partner and I have
set the plans in motion and have ordered 2 sheds (barns). Hers is 12m
x 16m and my forge a more modest 6m x 9m.. now before you all go
telling me there is something coherently wrong with the "she shed"
being bigger than the "he shed" the plans for the bigger barn is to be
split into her jewelry making, painting and other "cleaner" activities
including a shop for the tourist season. My modest forge however will
be 100% dedicated to the testosterone filled activity of metal abuse.

The roof of the "wombat Forge" measures 3.9 metres should be enough to
install a sufficient bridge crane and as I do not (as yet) posses any
large machinery the floor plan is very much a white canvas! All very
exciting!!! The downer is I am in London at the moment I am not able
to get my hands too dirty with this project... but the barns should be
up and ready by August this year. Obviously this whole project is
still in an embryonic phase and we even plan to live in the bigger
barn for a year whilst we build out yurt houses.. but finally we are
making great strides towards realising our dream house with dream
forge in a dream location!!

I will keep you all posted with the slow but steady progress and post
pictures when there is something to show.
