Dave: I'd be thrilled to get a copy of that article. When I use the  
term anneal, I'm using it straight from the info book ("ANNEALING:  
Heat to 1500/1550ºF and hold for 1 to 4 hours depending on part size"  
etc, etc....).

I actually do have a great kiln, now that you mention it. It's my  
wife's glass kiln, which has a very accurate digital thermometer and  
programmable firing schedules for bringing temps down slowly. I could  
simply forge my tools and toss them in there. I still want your  
article, though. Please email it to me.
