Waylan Journal Report

Late Wednesday afternoon, after a hard day in his unheated hillside
blacksmithing shop ( and not a few beers); Blacksmith PR closed down his
forge and shut the doors as usual. That's when the trouble began.
Hot and tired from his labors, PR had another couple of beers to cool
down and soon found the only warm thing around was his beloved anvil.
He apparently felt lonely and a bit amorous there in the dusk and
"realized that i had been looking at that warm damn hardy hole for years
and it was at just the right height".
A short time later, an attractive young lady knocked on the door and
pressed her breasts against the glass attempting to peer in.
When the smith attempted to withdraw from the anvil, it was already too
late.
When paramedics arrived 1/2 hour later, they were unable to lift the
anvil and the smith onto the regulation guerny and a second ambulance
crew had to be called.
After some humiliating hours in the hospital, attended to by elder nurse
Hornbuckle and 23 reporters, the anvil had cooled sufficiently that,
with the help of cold, soapy water the smith was freed.
PR only statement was that he regretted not using Anviline Hardy Hole
Grease..as advertised by Tom Wilson.
