i am not sure that my body betrayed me, i tend to
think it was more the doctors not caring about what
the quality of life would be after they saved me from
the injuries suffered in the head-on-collision, and
more about them being to pound their chest and proclaim
their god-like status for saving another mere mortal.
living on ever increasing morphine dosages for the
rest of my life, which hopefully will not be that long,
is not what i would call fun.
