[TheForge] RE UMBA's DVDs

We all owe the UMBA's Rodger Degner a great debt of gratitude for the many 
hours he has dedicated, and the many miles he has traveled ,to document the 
unique talent he has videoed at Blacksmithing conferences all over the 
country.

Every passing year we lose several smith's whose unique talents go 
undocumented and consequently are lost.

I strongly agree with Peter that ABANA dropped the ball on this.
They could have jump started affiliate groups in several regions of the U S 
and Canada by suppling  equipment and training to record regional 
conferences, and  then used the proceeds of the subsequent DVD's to help 
finance the project.
