I think the Chinese are capable of doing high  quality manufacturing. They do 
quite a bit of it for Germany, France, et al.They  also do some good stuff 
for Nike, etc.  If a US manufacturer decides to  produce in China. the Chinese 
manufacturers will do what they are told to do and  what they are paid for. If 
ViseGrips become a shoddier product, it will not  necessarily be because it is 
being manufactured in China. More likely it will be  because the US 
manufacturer has said make me a cheaper product...possibly  because the CEO feels the 
need for $63 million in earnings this year.
