[TheForge] 2008 SIMS Metals conferance at SIUC coming up

Just in case anyone on the list would be able to go and want to I thought I'd post this info.  SIMS(Southern Illinois Metalsmiths Society) will be having their fall Metals conferance soon, on the campus of Southern Illinois University at Carbondale IL.  The dates are Sept. 26th and 27th.  With two visiting artists, Mike Bondi and Reese Nimi.  Plus, local artist John "Duff" Medwedeff.  The focus this year will be on public art and architecture.
