I kid thee not!

I had two pygmies as company for the horse.
 
When I'd let them out to browse, either of those little buggers could climb
a 4-foot vertical field gate whenever it wanted, and then just jump off the
top into the next field.

Had them both for ten years and they died within a week of each other. The
only way to keep them in a stall was to make sure the gate had a perfectly
smooth interior surface.

They were actually delightful animals and I still miss them.
