I don't know any of these folks either.
Some things to think about are that one need not be a good blacksmith
or even a nice person to be a board member.
Board members should have some "business" or "administrative" or other
"organizational" skills to qualify as a good board member.
TheBoard is about running the organization and not running it into the
ground. They need to have the personal time, money and talent
to put into the job. They need to have at least a working knowledge of
computers, e-mail and spread sheets.
ABANA has had some pretty sour people that have done worlds of good
for the organization and other really nice people
that didn't do diddley.
Just my 2 cents worth.
