If wanting to sell scrap at a good price you may have to wait a long time --
years at least. Scrap is very market driven, even it you don't think so.
Demand is down, the price is down. Demand is low, the price will stay low.
With what is going on worldwide right now demand may be low for a long time.
Aluminum scrap runs about 10 to 20 cents below what it costs to produce new
base metal. New metal costs depends of the price of power and the price of
alumina. Simple, I know some think the game is rigged but it isn't. It
really is supply and demand.
