I haven't taken Darryl Nelson's class, but it is coming up (Jan. 4-10, 2009).

You may also want to look at the John c campbell folk school, Steve
williamson Dragons wizards and horses class or darryl Nelson animal
sculptures in iron they do fill up fast so may already be full this
year
