Roger also has a DVD showing Steve Williamson doing dragons, wizards, etc. 
He talks about the tools and techniques he uses.  The video is poorly edited 
in that some segments seem to be out of order.  But, the information is 
good.

I had looked through the UMBA DVD list, but didn't know which might be
good. (I haven't gotten through the last "group" of UMBA DVD's I bought
last month. It takes me awhile to watch 40+ hours of videos :-) Probably
because I tend to try out a few things here and there in between... )

Anyway, looking again, I didn't see Joe Thompson, but there is one by
Joe Anderson. Is that the one you meant?
