Here in NE Texas we are having a great Thanksgiving, most everyone is
healthy, most of the family was here and we had lots to eat. The wife
got smart and didn't cook this year. She wanted to visit instead of
work, so we ordered everything catered. Sort of expensive but it turns
out the caterer cooked enough for twice the number (40 instead of 20)
and we froze 1/2 of it for Christmas! We may do this every year from
now own. It was all good except the PIES! Gotta find a better pie
cook. We topped it off by baptizing my 2 newest grandsons this week too!
The forge has been strangely quiet as I built only 1 fire, and that was
only a wad of newspaper to demonstrate to a visitor that, "Yes, it does
draw!"
I hope everyone's week has been as wonderful.
