Terry:
I'd a friend with a bad back who welded up a swing boom to pick up log
sections and swing them over to this splitter.
The split pieces fell onto a platform that fit on the front of his
bucket loader.
I'm imagining an A frame on wheels that would straddle your wheel chair
and sport a 1/4 ton crane. Cable winch mounts at a convenient height,
runs over pulleys.
I like drive shaft tubing for this kind of stuff..good rigidity to
weight ratio, cheap and easily weldable.
Can you weld yet Terry?
My old 63 ford loader is frustration and cranky..but it sure shuffles
stuff around...on a good day...pf
