Dave,

I was "Ok" with what I read,  as a cost benefit ratio.

There are 3 levels of coverage, plus some optional riders like vision 
and dental.
I thought that its benefits were ok,  on some issues,  like the 
optional  vision and dental coverage.
If I read it correctly it does NOT exclude pre-existing conditions, 
which would be good.

On the other hand under emergency room visits, it appears to  me that 
it may cover illness only... ( perhaps not accidental injury ).
On surgery it appears to cover 20%, of scheduled (approved) 
costs,  which would be OK if you had 80% coverage though some other group plan.

I didn't call the phone number to get more details of the plan yet, 
but most insurance plans cover,
only  what they say they will, and don't cover what they clearly exclude.

I am still evaluating it, and intend to call the phone number to 
request more details.
