[TheForge] gate display

I would build a frame to hold the gate, out of something substantial 
that complimented the work.  Complete with hinges so the gate could 
swing if the frame were affixed.  In the real world, the frame might not 
be needed as there would be a fence post or some such to hold the gate, 
but for display, esp. a juried show ... and this would permit it to be 
viewed from all sides.  You could even incorporate an arch with hanging 
vines, etc.  "Presentation", as my designer often tells me, is worth as 
much as the work itself.
