My little copper quench tank experiment is entering it's 4th year..
The beginning was using a beat up copper canning kettle i patched.
Put in a raised stainless screen bottom..and, no bugs! Tried copper
scrap with the fire buckets in the work yard..same result.
Report ;
Putting copper sheet scraps in the quench tank bottom ,controls
mosquitoes pretty well.....here anyway.
