Acouple moreways to provide drains in a sub-floor air 
system are:

1, Put a low spot in a well outside where you can open 
the drain cock. The piping has to have a contiguous 
fall (slope) so water can flow to the drain, without 
traps.

2, Put a hookah drain in a low spot. This is simply a 
vertical nipple with a reducer. There is a small 
diameter pipe going to the bottom of the low spot and a 
drain cock on top. The piping still has to be slopes 
without water traps.

Either work well.
