Well, I'm sorry to hear about your  loss.  I've had 6 deaths in the last 
year, so I can very much relate to how miserable it is.

Please give mom my best wishes, for whatever they may be worth.

I wish I had something clever and comforting to offer.  I'm not that... 
well... clever.
