Thanks much, James & Jerry.  I do have the correct T-grade hoses
setup, and will see how much better a tip change does me.
I'm looking forward to one day getting the AllStates torch, and sooner
would be nicer than later of course, but for now I'm happy
to be doing more with what I already have.  I'm surprised that I was
able to get much of a blue cone off the standard acet tip --
it felt like it sucked but that was only tuning the handle's knobs
(the regulators were both set nearly as low as they'd go,
I think the oxy tank I'm using is nearly empty anyway :)

Way better'n nuthin!
