Single or Couple, to care for a 7 acre area, within a 160 acre property, 
on the high plains of southeastern NM.

30 miles SW of Portales, in the greater Elida area, half-way between 
Roswell & Clovis.

Rural, safe, secure, quiet. You must have reliable transportation. Most 
of the property is in a soil reserve.


Residence is a late model, (16'x80') all-electric, mobile home, that you 
could live in (central heat & air). Should 2 caretakers not wish to 
share this mobile home, there’s a 20 ft travel trailer, also available. 
Ten RV hookups are also available. Large garden area is available. Two 
small enclosed workshops. Rainwater catchment system, with storage 
tanks. 3600 sq ft shop that you could complete construction on, if 
desired, & then use for your hobbies & projects. Tractor is available, 
for occasional mowing of grounds & driveway maintenance (about 5 times 
annually).

Plenty of storage & covered parking. Climate is moderate, non-humid, 
lots of sunshine, with an occasional light snow in winter.

You would pay for your own electricity, & provide maintenance & grounds 
upkeep, in exchange for rent-free housing. Phone & high speed internet 
(satellite) access are available & would be at your expense. Security 
deposit of $100, plus electricity deposit of $50.

Ideal for someone with an existing income; no salary is involved. This 
position is available immediately.

No pets, parties, drugs, tobacco, problematic alcohol, illegal items, or 
children. Mature behavior is required. Compatible disabilities are ok.

This property is for sale, but, is highly unlikely to sell quickly. 
Should it sell while you’re there, you could reside in our 20 ft travel 
trailer (either in Portales, adjacent to our home; or on the rural 
property, with permission of a new owner). A buyer would typically want
