[TheForge] bad thread

When I was little, I watched a television about immigrants and how
many had their names shorterned at Ellis island.  I thought some of
the names were cool.  I named my teddy bear Agnostopoulos Kretchmar,
when I heard that it had been shortened to Agnew, much to my liberal
parents horror! :)  Now that I am grown up and even more to the left
than my parents were, I can see why my parents didn't want me to bring
my teddy bear to the civil rights marches.  We still laugh about it!
