[TheForge] melting copper and aluminum

We used to call them accidents too, when a preheat furnace for hot rolling 
of aluminum got too hot and the metal ran out of the furnace doors.  With 
40,000 pound slabs it was a real mess.  Expensive too. A typical preheat 
could have 16 --  40, 000 pound slabs in it.
