Well, Hello there fans,
Just got my telephone and e-mail up and running tonight. (damn phone company)
Yes, our home was mostly destroyed by a tornado / giant oak tree on
May 15th (i think it was)
Lost a lot of stuff including the house and slight damage to the new
roof of the shop.
Cindy is ok, but we are both very disorientated. We have good
insurance fortunately.
Just finished a 3 year rebuild of our small rental house in Abita
Springs the week before the tornado.
We are now living in the Abita house and the insurance is paying the rent..
On the bright side, we now have a good excuse to sort through our 30
year collection of "stuff" and get rid of most of it.
I go to the old house everyday after work and sort through stuff and
pack it off to the climate controlled storage or the GoodWill or the garbage.
We will also be getting a new house out of the deal. We would like to
build a smaller, more "green" house.
I hear that Louisiana has the best tax credits in the Nation for going "solar" .

Sorry that I haven't been able to even get to the LAMA web site in
three weeks. I'll try to catch up soon.
