That is the method I use to seal all of the non-knife forged things that
I make. Gotta love that aroma though!!

I just finished a rebar staircase (toprail and balusters are 1-3/4";
everything else a combo of 3/8 to 3/4 rebar), total feet of the
staircase is about 50 feet.  I waxed it hot with beeswax.
