Clean cast iron like window sash weights should bring a premium... but

Rather than just taking them to the junk dealer, why not  try 
advertising them on one lists like the yahoo group "hobby cast"

Window sash weights should  be superior / sought after by  small cast 
iron users.

My son is a salvage iron "scrapper".  He just hates it when I start 
picking over one of his loads.
