[TheForge] Glass and Steel

I've used 1/2" glass for the tops of coffee tables, end tables. With the 
edges exposed, I think it looks a whole lot better than 1/4".  I'd be 
more inclined to use it for shelving or narrow table tops like a sofa 
table. Or planters and such.
