Try laying your swage between a couple stumps or blocks with the stake hanging down .make sure the stumps are snug against both sides of stake and supporting most of the swage block. Soak the shit out of it with penetrating oil and come back the next day with a heavy punch or whatever, a good honkin sledge and start wailin away should pop out like a greased pig on a hardwood floor .Course you dont want a do this if its welded in.Worked for me.
